Eunice was born July 7, 1913, in Lincoln, Ark., and was a longtime area resident. She was recognized as being the oldest surviving WAC and served in the U.S. Army Sept. 1, 1943, through Dec. 16, 1945. Eunice was a talented artist and writer and was a member of the Granby Church of Christ.
Her first husband's last name was McFarland. She married Leon Urshel Lewis on July 12 1973. She is preceded in death by her second husband, Leon Lewis on Oct 29, 1995.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Granby Memorial Cemetery. Bobby Stafford, minister, will officiate.
Friends may call from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at Clark Funeral Home, Granby.
