A loving husband and father, he was a founding member and Deacon of Burnetts Creek Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a retiree of the Knox County Highway Department. His favorite pastimes included spending time with family and friends, church activities, farming, hunting, and fishing. Heaven has gained an angel that will always remain alive in our hearts.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother and all eight brothers and sisters, his wife of 59 years Lidav, son David, and daughter Marion.
Interment: Huskey Cemetery.
