Ella served in the mission field alongside her husband, Werner, for 22 years in Brazil South America. She was a member of Shepherd of the City Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her son, Nathan (Betty) Wadewitz of Fort Wayne; daughter, Monica T (Luther) Herman of Booneville MO; Carla (Ernesto) Ternieden of Fresno CA; son, Richard Wadewitz of Fort Wayne; daughter, Veronica (Michael) Adams of Wilmington NC; son, Leonard (Cathy Wade) Wadewitz of Batavia IL; daughter, Eunice Wadewitz of Fort Wayne; daughter-in-law, Sandy Wilson, Portland OR; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Ella was preceded in death by her husband, Werner Karl Wadewitz; daughter, Magdalena Horlle; son, Paul Wadewitz; parents, Richard and Katherine Wasemiller; sisters, Erma Wadewitz, Elvera M. Maxwell, and Victoria Russell; brothers, Paul Wasemiller, Emil Wasemiller, and Reinholt Wasemiller.
