PALMER, EARL R. - age 77 of Knoxville passed away Saturday May 27, 2000 at his home. Member of Alice Bell Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran in WWII and was a Nordic Bomb Site Technician in Europe. He was member of the 401st Bomb Group. He was a Master Gardner. He was preceded in death by two brothers amd his survived by his wife, daughter & son in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law and two nieces. Family & friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday for interment services at 11 a.m. Eldon Wishart, Barbara Strange & Rev. Doug White officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Heart Association East Tennessee Region 4708 Papermill Dr. Knoxville, Tenn. 37909. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
