Mr. Campbell was born in Richland County, a son of the late Julius C. and Cynthia Ann Bradley Campbell. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Barraca Sunday School Class. Mr. Campbell was associated with the Columbia Credit Bureau for 36 years, retiring in 1966. He was active in civic affairs and was a member of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the Columbia Credit Managers Association and a member and sponsor of the Credit Women's International. He was past president of the North Columbia Business Men's Association, and the Associated Credit Bureaus of S.C.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nell Shuler Campbell; a son, Harry W. Campbell, Jr. of Columbia; a sister, Mrs. W.H. Prince of Columbia; and two brothers, J.D. and J.Y. Campbell of Columbia.
