Alex Nelson Doll, age 21, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013, in Ames, Iowa.
Alex was born November 18, 1991, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and graduated from St. Albert High School in 2010. Alex was in his senior year at Iowa State University.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Warren and Mildred Robertson, of Oakland, Neb., and Merlin and Edith Doll of Council Bluffs; uncle, Donald Robertson, of Columbus, Neb.
Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Mary Jane (MJ) Doll, of Council Bluffs; aunts and uncles, Judy Robertson, of Columbus, Neb., Mark and Julia Doll, of Des Moines, Iowa, Tami Doll, of Council Bluffs, Scott and Elizabeth Doll, of Council Bluffs, Jay and Laura Doll, of Omaha; cousins, Ann Robertson, of Columbus, Jeff and Michelle Robertson, of Mukilteo, Wash., Sara Robertson Kim and Steven, of Torrance, Calif., Andrew and Lauren Doll, of Des Moines, Melissa Powell, of Ames, Neb., George, Gus and Charles Doll, of Council Bluffs, Emily, Rachel and Sarah Doll, of Omaha; step grandmother, Sharri Doll, and her daughters, Nikki Easley, both of Atlanta, and Jami Strachman, of San Francisco, Calif.
