Mrs. Wirt Good Dies at Arcola
ARCOLA, Ill. — Mrs. Wirt Good, 69, of Arcola, died at the home of her son, Ralph Good, in Arcola at 6 a.m. today following a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Shrader funeral home here. Burial will follow in the Arcola cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight and Saturday afternoon and night.
Born Alta Brandon, daughter of Alex and Lucy Brandon, on April 8, 1887, in Monroe County, Ky., Mrs. Good was married on April 30, 1922. She has lived in Arcola for the past 14 years.
Her husband and one son, Ralph, survive. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Ellan Good of Arcola, Mrs. Pearl Woods of Macon County, Tenn., and Mrs. Dossie Sampson of Tuscola; and two brothers, Herman and Obe, both of Arcola.
