ABAY, Edis was born on Nov. 11, 1926 to Serafin and Manuela in Caibarien, Cuba and passed away peacefully on Sept. 9, 2013. Preceded in death by husband, Antonio; siblings, Ceraida, Aleida, Gladys, Dagoberto, Serafin, Aldaberto, German and Adelardo. Survived by daughter, Caridad (Richard); grandson, Trevor; sisters, Manuela, Teresa, Olga and Josefa; nieces and nephews. A dedicated parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church as communion host and liturgical reader for Spanish Mass. Volunteered giving communion in nursing homes and attending charismatic prayer group in Tampa Catholic Church.
