Arthur C. "Skip" Badger Jr.

Our wonderful, sweet, and vibrant husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Arthur C. (Skip) Badger Jr., 75, passed away after a short battle with cancer on Sept. 11, 2013.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur C Badger Sr. and Thelma M. McRae Badger; mother-in-law, Sarah (Sadie) Fuller; two loving sisters, Sandra Jenkins and Brenda Dunton; a son-in-law, Kenneth Campbell; and grandson, Michael Scott Badger.
He is survived by his bride of 55 years, Jane Badger of Baker, Fla.; a son, Ricky (Wynell) Badger of Jackson-ville, Fla.; two daughters, Laurie Ann Campbell of Baker and Jimmie (Eddie) Chesser of Saltville, Va.
He is also survived by eight grandchildren who lovingly called him "Poppy", Rebecca (Brian) Conforth of Con-cord, N.C., Casey Guthrie of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Elizabeth Badger of Crestview, Fla., Cameron (Heather) Campbell of Crestview, Chelsea Campbell of Baker, Brittany Cook of Jacksonville, Cody and Cole Badger of Pace, Fla., and a great-granddaughter, Isabella Leigh Campbell of Crestview.
He leaves behind three brothers, Walter (Eileen) Badger of Easton, Mass., Wayne (Linda) Badger of Plymouth, Mass., Kevin (Donna) Badger of Pembroke, Mass.; a precious 90-year-old aunt, Susan Russell of Holyoke, Mass.; an aunt, Jean McRae, of Carson City, Nev.; a brother-in-law, Thomas (Carolyn) Fuller of Centerville, Mass.; sister-in-law, Mary Fest of Rockland, Mass.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins spread all over the USA.
Skip was retired Air Force, traveling all over the world for 20 years, police officer at the airport and insurance agent for Mutual Insurance during his wonderful life. He was a member of the American Legion, AMVETS, and VFW. He was the founder of the Baker Little League program in 1976. He loved all sports but was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Boston Bruins.
His greatest joys were his family and his love of sports.
