ELIZABETH JANE TALLON DEAD

Elizabeth Jane Tallon, Rt. 2, died Tuesday morning at 11:50 o'clock at the home of Mr. and MRs. O. W. Pettit, 118 Mechanic. She had been sick six weeks.

Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the Roberts-Blue Funeral chapel. Rev. O. M. Showalter, pastor of the First Baptist church, will conduct the services. Interment will be in Maplewood cemetery.

Mrs. Tallon was the former Miss Elizabeth Jane Crumpacker. She was born October 5, 1878, in Valparaiso, Ind. She was the daughter of the late Lucian and Carrie Crumpacker. She was married to Francis John Tallon on January 5, 1899, in Seward, Neb. She came to Emporia February 19, 1916.

She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Carrie M. Smith, of Dalton, Neb.; Mrs. Mattie Margaret Jones, of Emporia, and Miss Cora Lola Tallon, of the home, and three brothers, Clarence Crumpacker, of Americus; Dale Crumpacker, of Emporia, and Floyd Crumpacker, of Olpe. A sister, Margaret May Crumpacker, preceded her in death.
