SELMER - Barbara Jane Guess , 54, homemaker, died Saturday of heart failure at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Shackelford Funeral Home here with burial in McCalip's Chapel Cemetery near here. She was a Baptist. She was past president of the Genealogy Club. Mrs. Guess, the wife of James A. Guess, also leaves three daughters, Terri McCord of Great Bend, Kan., Tini Kirby of Byhalia, Miss., and Monie Guess of Bolivar; a son, Julian Troy Donaldson of Nashville; her mother and stepfather, Florence M. and Carl B. Shockley of Mountain Home, Ark.; a sister, Shirley Fuller of Memphis; two brothers, Charles Sanford of Eads and William Sanford of Ripley, and four grandchildren.
