Clayton A. Brandt, 78, of 769 Chambers St., Bressler, died Wednesday in Holy Spirit Hospital.

He was the widower of Edna M. Brandt; was a retired firefighter for Bethlehem Steel Corp.; and was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Oberlin, and the Bressler Firemen's Club.

Surviving are two sons, Clayton A. of Harrisburg, and Robert M. of Newport; a daughter, Carol A. Row of Middletown; two brothers, Eugene of Newport News, Va., and Raymond of Middletown; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
