After arriving in Wilkes Barre, Mary soon got a job in Plymouth, Pa. and by early January 1910 Mary married a young widower, Frederick Buydos who was the father of three young children, John, Steven and Mary.
They lived in Glen Lyon for awhile, before moving to their family home in Buttonwood, Luzerne, Pa. Mary and Frederick had 5 beautiful children together, Anna, Andrew, Joseph, Helen, and Margaret in the short time they had together before Frederick's early death.
Mary had family from Czechoslovakia immigrate to Wilkes Barre over the years, including her niece Anna Ondis Konsevitch, who lived in Hanover Green; walking distance from Mary's home.
Mary's loving children and cherished grandchildren lived nearby. She continued living in the family home in Buttonwood until her death in 1966.
