Jimmie Lee Tucker, 63, of Burlington, died at 10:47 PM Monday, September 16, 2013, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born April 17, 1950, in Burlington, he was the son of Clarence Leroy and Inez Elizabeth Kaiser Tucker. On July 25, 1970, he married Nancy Kay Myers in Burlington.

Jim worked for J.I. Case Company for 32 years where he retired in 2002. He later worked at Farm King.

He was a 1969 graduate of Burlington High School.

He was a member of the UAW Local #807. He enjoyed playing country music on his bass guitar for the band New Edition/Southern Rukus. He enjoyed hunting, sports, working with his hands, fixing things, building things, woodworking, spending time in his garage, attending his grandchildren's events and spending time with his grandchildren. He was also an avid Iowa Hawkeyes and St. Louis Cardinals fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two nephews, Damian Myers and Scotty Myers.
