Mrs. Flakie Isobel Smith, 60, of Harman, died in the Davis Memorial Hospital at Elkins Thursday morning after an extended illness.She was born Dec. 27, 1901, at Dry Fork, a daughter of the late Azora and Mary Bonner Bennett.Surviving are hr husband, Odus Smith; two sons, Charles Smith of Baltimore, Md., and Carl Smith with the U.S. Air Force; five daughters, Mrs. Opal Stevanis of Baltimore, Md., Miss Ella May Lambert of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Dorles Ryder and Mrs. Annabel McChesney of Monongahela, Pa., and Mrs. Wanda Smith of Elkins; three sisters, Mrs. Troy Waybright of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Mrs. Dorothea Farrington of Oregon, and Mrs. Dora Armentrout of Eglon; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Mrs. Smith was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Dry Fork.The body is at the Spiggle Funeral Home in Davis, where friends may call till 12 noon Sunday, at which time it will be taken to the Assembly of God Church at Dry Fork for funeral services at 2 p.m. The Rev. Ira Moore will officiate. Interment in the Smith family cemetery at Rich Mountain near Harman.
