Carol was a daughter of Robert Elwood Sanford & Myrtle Elizabeth Stewart. She was first married to Merle R. Shutt and they had two children, Richard & Patricia,then married Richard C. Andrews. She is survived by her children: Richard (Sharon) Shutt and Patricia Smith, step-sons, Robert Andrews & Larry (Donna )Andrews; sisters, Marsha (Thomas) Davis, Connie (Jeff) Freeland and ,brothers; Calvin (Roxanne) Sanford, Terry (Janice) Sanford; brother-in-law, Jim Shutt, sister-in-law, Barbara Smith; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard C. Andrews; brothers, Adair Sanford & Robert Sanford and her sister, Charlotte (Sanford) Dodge and her parents, Robert & Elizabeth Sanford.
Burial will be in the Grove Cemetery, Bath, N.Y.
