Emma Agnes Nosler
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Hillsboro Christian Church for Mrs. Emma Agnes Nosler, a longtime Hillsboro resident who died Friday. Private cremation will follow in Portland. Mrs. Nosler was born Feb. 8, 1873, near Turner, Ore. She was a graduate of Monmouth State Normal College (now Oregon College of Education) and taught school in Coos County with her husband for many years. Mrs. Nosler was a first grade teacher. A member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union, Mrs. Nosler was also an active member of the Hillsboro Christian Church and numerous local service organizations. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carl Rickson, of Portland; one son, Bryce Nosler, Eugene; one sister, Mrs. E. G. Miller, of Portland; 9 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
