Excerpt -- Mrs. Julia Ann Benson Blaney, a native of Bruceton Mills, died yesterday in the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. R. Culp of Pruntytown. She was 99 years old. She had made her home with Mrs. Culp for the past seven years. Born in Bruceton Mills on May 22, 1861, a daughter of Joseph A. and Mary Ann Mostoller Benson. In addition to her granddaughter, she is survived by one son, Don Blaney of Pisgah; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Letitia Hauger of Terra Alta. Services are to be held Monday at the Pisgah Methodist Church at 2 p.m. with burial in the church cemetery.
