FRANKLIN — Robert P. Beaupre, 86, of Windward Rd., Franklin, died at his home on Nov. 16, 2004. He was born in Manchester on Aug. 6, 1918, the son of Eugene and Annie (Cote) Beaupre. Mr. Beaupre resided in Franklin since he was four years old and was a graduate of Franklin High School, class of 1937.

During World War II, Mr. Beaupre served in the U.S. Army serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater and Guadacanal. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart Medal.

Bob was a union carpenter for many years until retiring at age 62. He worked from the Concord Local.

He was a member of Franklin VFW Post #1698, Franklin Lodge of Elks # 1280, and The Fr. AJ Timon Knights of Columbus Council. He was a member of The American Legion and was a communicant of St. Paul Church in Franklin.
Mr. Beaupre's wife, Vivian (Comeau) Beaupre, died in 1980. Family members include five children, Wilfred "Terry" Theriault of Bristol, Conn., Michael Theriault of Concord, twin daughters, Jane and Jan Theriault of Franklin, and Roberta Beaupre of Franklin; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, two brothers, Eugene "Rene" Beaupre of the NH Veterans Home in Tilton, and Roland Beaupre of Manchester; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Yvonne Desrochers, and by a brother, Roger Beaupre.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Nov. 18 from 7-9 p.m. at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery.
