Arthur Daniel Proper, aged 60, well known Troy township farmer, residing northwest of Hydetown, died in the West Penn hospital in Pittsburgh, Saturday evening, following an operation. The body was brought to the Willis L. Arnold funeral home and will be taken to the residence, today, where firends may call after 4 p.m.

Mr. Proper was son of Samuel and Melissa Proper and born in Crawford county May 14, 1880. He had lived on his present farm about 23 years. He leaves his second wife, Mrs. Estella Proper, two children by the first marriage, Mrs. Walter Warner, RD Titusville, and Mrs. Merle Seely, RD Oil City; four grandchildren, and the following brothers; Kelly and Willis Proper of Troy township; Ralph of Meadville, Guerdon of Titusville and Milford of Hydetown.

Funeral services will be conducted from the East Troy church at 2 p.m., Tuesday, with Interment in the church cemetery.
