Actor/Educator. Weyand performed in feature films, television, and on the stage. He played in Man on a Swing ('74); The Dain Curse ('78); Ragtime ('81); The Murder of Mary Phagan ('82); Shadow and Fog ('92); Lonesome Dove ('89). He received The Village Voice Obie Award in 1964 for his role as the professor in "The Lesson". In addition to his acting career, he was a Professor of Drama at Marymount College in Tarrytown, New York from 1958-1999. He Chaired the Speech, Communication, & Drama Department at Marymount from 1964- 1983 and from 1988-1998. Weyand was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
