Perle B. Adair, Retired Highway Employee, Died Here This Morning

Perle B. Adair, 76, of Edina, a resident of Knox County all his life, died at 12:20 o'clock Monday morning, Nov. 3, 1969, at the Gibson Hospital here where he had been a patient about three months. He was a retired farmer and employee of the Missouri State Highway Department.

Funeral services were at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel in Edina with the Rev. Barbara Barnett officiating. Burial was in the Linville Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Adair was born March 25, 1893, in Knox County, a son of Charley and Alice Kirk Adair. He married April 19, 1922, at Edina, to Miss Opal May Patterson. Mr. Adair was a member of the Assembly of God Church here.

His parents, a half brother, Chris Adair, and two half sisters, Beulah and Mary, preceded him in death.
