Survivors include her mother, Connie Ruth Dawley, and her father, Rick McElhenie; two sisters, Tonya Lynne Dawley and Christy Marie Dawley; maternal grandparents, Violet G. and Robert P. Shank of Virginia Beach; paternal grandparents, Grace D. and Otho P. Sloane of Portsmouth; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, by the Rev. Jeff Young. The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 p.m. today in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel.
