Ian Anthony Grgurich, age 23, of New Haven, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in New Haven. He was born in Creve Coeur on February 27, 1990 to Marissa L. Grgurich.

Ian was a proud and faithful fourth generation Marine, was a member of the Pvt. George Phillips Marine Corps League Detachment, Young Life Franklin County, and the National Rifle Association. He was always thinking of others, and would do anything for someone in need. He thought of his friends as brothers and sisters, and would always be there to take up for them in their times of need.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 10 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (Gildehaus) in Villa Ridge. Interment will be private. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 23 from 4 until 8 pm at Miller Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Miller Funeral Home to assist with Funeral costs.

He is survived by his mother Marissa Grgurich and fiance, Jake Houghton of Washington; his grandparents, John and Sheila Grgurich of Washington; three aunts and uncles, Stacey and husband Eric Wilder of Wildwood, Anthony and wife Theresa Grgurich of Washington, and James and wife Stacy Grgurich of St. Charles; two cousins, Johnathon and JoAnna Grgurich of St. Charles; his godparents, Stan and Mary Alice Dultz of St. Peters; other relatives and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Joseph and Kathleen Grgurich and Stanley and Lanett Marshall.
