In January 1957 Martha, as she was listed on the marriage license, married Carl L Hart in Madera. By July their first child, Carl Harvey Hart was born where the family was living in Merced County, CA. Harvey was followed by Margie Elizabeth Hart, also born in Merced County, July 1959. Two years later Larry David Hart arrived in July 1961, Santa Cruz County, CA. Larry was followed by Richard L Hart, born in Glenn County, CA in Dec 1962. Baby Richard lived just 18 days. After nearly a four year gap Charles W Hart was born, Nov 1966 in Kern County, CA.
The next few years found the family in several locations, following the work. By 1973 they were living in Brownwood, Brown County, TX where Martha and Carl divorced.
Martha married Jerry L Brodshaw in Dec 1974 in Brown County, TX but in 1977 she married one last time. Ellis Leroy Bishop and Martha married in Dec 1977, just ten months before Martha died at the young age of 44.
