Chico Record, Tuesday, January 18, 1910, pg 5 col 4: Mrs. Maria Linn Dies At Age of Seventy-Five Years. Mrs. Maria Linn died Sunday evening at her home in Linden Avenue, at the head of Second street, Chico Vecino. Death was the result of a long battles against illness in which the age of the deceased prevented victory. She was aged 75 years and was a native of Missouri. She had been an honored resident of this city for many years. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the family residence. There survive the estimable mother, three sons, W.B. Linn, Barney Linn and John Linn.
