Mrs. Mary Rogers of Greensboro, Mrs. Ailene Smith of Rt 1 Colfax, Mrs. Irene Turner of Gastonia and Mrs. Rosie Caine of Tuscaloosa, Ala; Half-brothers, Ray and Clarence Slate of Winston-Salem, and Cecil, J.W. and Otis Slate of High Point; Half-sisters, Mrs. Dillie Sapp, Mrs. Etta Nifon, and Mrs. Mozelle Pyrtle of Winston-Salem, Mrs. Novella Gordon and Mrs. Myrtle Jean Cecil of High Point, Mrs. Sudie Pool of Fort Bragg; 27 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Sunlight Baptist Church. Burial will be in Smith Grove Baptist Church cemetery. The family will be at Pierce Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today.
