BALKEMA – Jennie Balkema, the twelve-year old daughter of Mrs. John Balkema, formerly of North Muskegon and now of Chicago, died in Chicago this morning of appendicitis. The body will arrive in Muskegon tomorrow evening.

The funeral of Jennie Balkema, daughter of Mrs. John Balkema, who died in Chicago Monday was held yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Fr. Whalen conducted the services.
