YAMHILL RESIDENT DIES SATURDAY AT HOME
Frank A. Russell, 72, a resident of Yamhill for the past seven years, died August 30 at his home there, following a week's illness.
Born in Gaston, Ore., August 15, 1869, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Addison Russell, he had lived most of his life at Gaston before moving to Yamhill.
Surviving are his widow, Emma, one son, Leroy Russell, Yamhill, one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Neuenschwander of Cornelius, one brother, Dr. B.A. Russell of The Dalles, and one sister, Mrs. Lillian Bettner of Gaston.
Funeral services were held September 2 at the Macy chapel, with the Rev. S.J. Osborne officiating. Burial was in the Yamhill-Carlton cemetery.
