Grace Ann Long, age 78, of 4998 Townline Road, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, was called to Heaven Saturday afternoon after a lengthy illness. Grace Krueger was born January 5, 1918 in Forestville, the daughter of the late Herbert and Ida (Wilke) Krueger.
On January 23, 1943, she married Lawrence J. Long at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Maplewood, WI. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church; Christian Mothers and the Going Gals Homemakers Club.
Her family survivors are her husband Lawrence of Sturgeon Bay, WI;
son David (Patricia) of Mounds View, Minnesota;
a daughter Dianne (Arthur) Hartmann of Greenfield, WI;
five granddaughters Shelley and Brenda Long; Tracy, Sharee and Kristy Hartmann;
three brothers: Leonard (Betty) Krueger of Sturgeon Bay, WI; Herbert Krueger of Valders, WI; Edward (Carol) Krueger of Forestville, WI;
five sisters: Helen Neinas of Maplewood, WI; Bernice (Kenneth) Karas of Maplewood, WI; Elaine Sperber of Sturgeon Bay, WI; Florence (Carl) Sixel of Sturgeon Bay, WI; a sister-in-law Ann Krueger of Greenleaf; brother-in-law Harold Wienser of Sturgeon Bay.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Milton; three sisters: Margaret Wiesner, Mabel Grovogel and infant sister Violet.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 am at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Institute with Rev. Nick Pockel as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Name of Mary Catholic Cemetery in Maplewood. Friends may call at the Davis Mortuary Monday from 4 to 8 pm
