ADAMS Patricia A. Adams, 51, of Rochester, NH, died February 3, 2006 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, after waging a fierce battle with leukemia. Born in Quincy, MA, she was the daughter of the late Gertrude and Giles Adams and graduated from Weymouth High School in Weymouth, MA. Throughout her illness, Patty was known for her sense of hu mor and tenacity in fighting her illness. The family wishes to thank the staff of Dartmouth- Hitchcock Medical Center for their extraordi nary efforts on her behalf. She is survived by her daughters, Sara Troy of Fonda, NY, Whit ney Troy of Manchester, NH and Camryn Lee Adams of NH and her son, Jesse Troy of Dan vers, MA, as well as her sisters, Wanda (Bill) Fischer of Schenectady, NY and Virginia (Scott) Walsh of NY and a granddaughter, Adriana Troy of Manchester, NH. Her cousins Linda (David) Belcher of Bridgewater, MA, Bobby (Mary) Brown of Whitman, MA and Helen Jalkut of Weymouth, MA were very sup portive during her illness, as was her cousins, Steve Harvey of Norwell, MA and Susan Peffer of RI. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family re quests that contributions in her memory be sent to Norris Cotton Cancer Center, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03756. Chadwick Funeral Service of New London, NH is in charge of arrangements.
