Robert Thomas "Lucky" Roberts Jr. of 5900 Richland Rd, died August 5, 1980 from stomach cancer. He was the son of Robert Thomas Roberts and Grace Mae (Currin)who have preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Marion Roberts; three daughters Mrs. Shirley (James) Snell, Blanche Reed and Miss Penny Roberts; one son Alfred Roberts; two brothers James "Cotton" and William S Roberts; two sisters Hazel Williams and Barbara Ann Weatherford; his mother Grace Mae Roberts; five grandchildren Joshua Snell, Sara Snell, Michelle Roberts,Melissa Roberts and Amber Reed.
His remains rest at the Joseph W. Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street, where services will be held Friday 11 am with interment in Dale Memorial Park.
