Emma Earlene Bray, 74, of Tecumseh, died Monday, Sept. 12, in Shawnee.
She was born May 1, 1931, in Vinita to Earl and Grace Bell (Humble) Bowen.

She was reared in Cushing and was a graduate of Preston High School. Following high school she lived in Oklahoma City and attended business school, beauty school, and real estate school.

She was married Nov. 4, 1950, to Thomas Bray in Oklahoma City.

She moved to Choctaw and pastored Woodlawn Pentecostal Holiness Church. She then moved to the Pink area and pastored at OK Full Gospel Church. She also worked as a beautician and real estate agent.

She was very active in the Living Word Church, the Evangelistic Center Church, and the Simon Peter Storehouse and Homeless Ministry.

She was preceded in death by her husband on June 18, 1982, and by her parents.

Survivors include, a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Delbert Phillips of Shawnee; sons and daughters-in-law, Clifford and Wendy Bray of Shawnee, and Dennis and Susan Bray of Tecumseh; grandchildren, Tina Hutchinson-Romena, Brandy Oswald, Angela Annanders, Travis Bray, Sheldon Bray, Christa Bray and Nathan Bray; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Hutchinson, Tristian Hutchinson, Devin Hutchinson, Trevor Hutchinson, Legend Hutchinson, Justice Romena, Jordan Oswald, Chase Oswald, Baylee St. Clair and Brandon St. Clair.

Service will be 10 a.m. today at Evangelistic Center with Pastor Mark McIntosh and J. Clifton Briscoe officiating. Burial to follow at the Brown Cemetery.
