James was the son of James & Mary W Andrews. At age 15 he was living with his mother, stepfather (Frank Walker), and some other relatives. In 1896 he married Georgia Coulson. They had three children (James, Georgia, and Robert). By 1910 James and his family moved to Idaho, where he worked as a farmer and shoe salesman. Georgia died on 17 Mar 1941. James died just eight days later at age 76.
