Elmira Cardona, 91, of Shoreline, WA, died September 13, 2013. Elmira was born to the late Joseph and Elmira Reid on July 15, 1922 in Philadelphia, PA.
She graduated from Olney High School and went on to become the indispensable executive secretary to the president of Fleer Corporation for 50 years.
She was an active member in the Olney Baptist Church, lending her smile and exceptional voice to the choir.
She moved to WA State in 2002 and enjoyed many happy years residing and participating in the programs at the Crista Senior Community.
Described as "sweet" by any who met her, she will be greatly missed.
Elmira is survived by her loving family, Elizabeth Reid, Nancy, Robert & McKenzie Mitchell, Paul and Lucia Reid, Rebecca, Chris and Austin Legg, Rachel and Skylar Reid, Sarah Reid, and David Reid.
Private burial was held at the Edmonds Memorial Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 2pm at the Courtyard at Cristwood, 19327 King's Garden Dr. N., Seattle, Wa 98133. Donations may be made to the King's High School Music Dept., www.kingsschools.org.
