William G. Acklin, 75, has died at his 420 Brashear Street home.
A lifelong resident of Brownsville, Mr. Acklin conducted an auto accessory and supplies business on upper Market Street for years.
He previously was associated in the grocery business with his father, and later he was involved in the baking and dairy business.
Mr. Acklin leaves his wife, Alice Dawson Acklin, and a daughter, Mary Alice.
Services will be held in the Ross Funeral Home with burial at Redstone Cemetery.
