Born in New Bedford, MA, she was a daughter of the late Sara and Hyman Stone, and the youngest of seven late brothers and sisters. When Jack returned from World War II, she worked with Jack at the Square Deal Meat Market, the family business for 60 years, until they retired in 1983.
Pearl was a member of Touro Synagogue and a life time member of Hadassah. Pearl took great pleasure in long rides in the car and in long walks around Newport with Jack. They often met former customers of the meat market. Pearl was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Beside her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Joyce Seder and her husband Dr. Harold Seder of St. Petersburg, FL, Richard I. Abrams and his wife Joan of Bristol, RI, two grandchildren, Dr. Stephen Seder and his wife Dr. Rachel Seder of Houston, TX, and Dr. Karen (Seder) Derechin and her husband Daniel of Chicago, IL, and three great grandchildren, Louis, Ike and Jessup Derechin.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the Hoffman Jewish Memorial Chapel, 11 Fowler Avenue, Newport at 10:30am. Burial at Beth Olam Cemetery in Middletown, RI.
