Robert passed away early on September 23rd from complications from cancer.
He was born September 7, 1943 in Lea, New Mexico son of Asiel & June Hemming Blair. Married Suzanne Lindsay in September of 1997. He served in the U.S. Army for 37 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He is a purple heart and bronze star recipient. Served in the Special Forces, I Corp Artillery, Troop Command. He enjoyed golf, traveling, sports and was an avid U of U fan. He is survived by his wife Suzanne Blair, daughter Britney Blair, step children Nichole Larsen, Natalie Henderson (Otha), Matthew Larsen (Paige), parents June and Asiel Blair, Sisters Gayle Mitchell (Richard), Susan Foster (George), Ellen Payne (Don), and 9 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Friday September 27th at 12:00 noon at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy. (10600 S). A visitation will be held from 11-12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Program. Online condolences may be shared at www.jenkins-soffe.com
