Havre--Carl Cook, 86, died Thursday at a local rest home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
Survivors include a son, Edward, Havre; three sisters, Mrs. Bright, Great Falls, Mrs. J. W. Erwin, Ronan and Mrs. Minnie Ham, Calgary; a brother, Clifford, Sheridan, Wyo.; and five grandchildren.
A retired Laredo farmer, he was born in Chattanooga, Tenn. He came to Havre in 1890 from Georgia and lived for a time in the Highwood and Belt areas, coming to Laredo in 1918. He retired in 1949.
He was first married to Lena Katherine Brandel in Great Falls, Dec. 17, 1908. After her death in 1952, he married Nellie Fish, who died in 1954. He married Ruth Briggs in Feb. 1958.
