Mr Ablondi, age 79, served in the Navy during World War II, had been employed by the park department, and was retired from Dennison Manufacturing Co. Also served as Framingham selectman for 12 years, retiring in 1980. He was active in many local organizations, including the Boy Scouts where he was awarded the Distinguished Citizen's award.
