**Marker is inscribed Elizabeth Rose Haver Perry Loveness.

Daughter of William Hubert (1889-1936) and Frances Mae (née Monahan 1895-1940) Haver.

M1) Jan 1944 Charles Bell Perry II (1914–1965)
M2) Est 1973 Alden Loveness (1917-1976)

Elizabeth Rose Loveness passed away peacefully on July 1, 2006, in her daughters' home.

She is preceded in death by the Love of her life, husband of 21 years, Charles Bell Perry.

She is survived and has been blessed by her nine children. Sons; Bob; Jim and David Perry all of Redding, Calif.; Don Perry of Monte Sereno, Calif.; Steve Perry of Orinda, Calif.; Sam Perry of Walnut Creek, Calif.; Daughters: Crystal Gottschalk of El Dorado Hills, Calif.; Sandra Perry of Plymoth, Calif. and Lisa Tyra of Bixby, Okla.; 21 beautiful grandchildren and 22 precious great-grandchildren.

"Betty" or "Sis" as she is more fondly known, was the last of her seven family members to survive. Her parents passed on at a young age and she was faced with the challenge of raising her own siblings in the San Jose area. She then married and moved to Hayfork, Chico and Redding where she was Owner and Operator of the Perry Lumber Company for 21 years after her husband passed. She raised her children on her own while running the Sawmill. Every morning, she read a Bible story to all of her children before they went to school. Whenever the doors were open at the Church the Perry kids were there. She supported several ministries both local and world wide. Charles and Betty were founding donors to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla. She was voted "Mother of the Year" routinely for many church and school functions. Her faith sustained her through many hardships. She witnessed numerous miracles throughout her life and she spoke often of the power of prayer. She had a very full and happy life and did not want her children to be sad at her passing. Health and Fitness were also an importance with exercising everyday and running a Marathon at age 50. Just an amazing Woman, Mother and wife, with a beautiful smile. Her legacy will live on for eternity.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of her Life at the Green Valley Mortuary in Rescue, Calif., Saturday, July 8, 2006, at 1 P.M. with a reception following. Viewing will be from 12-1 P.M. before the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that a living outdoor plant be given for the children to plant and watch grow. Monetary donations can be made in her honor to "Feed the Children Foundation". Published in Chico Enterprise-Record on July 7, 2006.
