Mark Leroy Wheeler, 80 of Sunnyside, Wa., formerly of Tonasket, Wa. Passed away on September 24, 2013 at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, Washington.
Mark was born on April 1, 1933 in Holly, Colorado to Chester and Ruth (Funderburg) Wheeler. Mark received his early education in Southeast Colorado.
He moved with his family to Central Washington in the early 1950's. Mark was involved in various phases of the agricultural industry most of his life. Mark
also served in the United States Marine Corps.
Mark is survived by his sister, Betty Fisher of Grandview, Washington, brothers, Larry (Phyllis) Wheeler and Darrell (Kathy) Wheeler of Sunnyside, Washington
and many nieces, nephews, step-children and step-grandchildren.
Mark was preceded in death by his wife Edna Wheeler, son David Lee Wheeler and parents Chester and Ruth Wheeler.
Mark was proud of his time spent in the Marines Corp and loved the cars and trucks he owned.
His family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the ICU Department at both Sunnyside Community Hospital and Kadlec Medical Center for their
tender loving and professional care.
Services will be held Monday, September 30th at 11:00 at Valley Hills Funeral Home located at 531 16th Street, Sunnyside, Washington. Viewing
will be held from 9:00 until the time of the service and burial will be at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside, Washington.
Memorials may be made to Lower Valley Hospice, 3920 Outlook Road, Sunnyside, Washington
