Private First Class Henderson was a member of Company B, 1st Battalion, 29th Infantry Regimental Combat Team. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy near Anui, South Korea on July 27, 1950. The 29th was attached to the 19th Infantry Regiment from July 28th through September 4, 1950. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953.
