DIES OF INFECTION
Streptococcus Fatal To Mrs. Margaret Smart, Near Lansdale
Mrs. Margaret Smart, twenty-one years old, died of a streptococci infection at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Adam Stinson, on the Buick farm, South Broad street, Lansdale, Friday. She had been ill since September.
Mrs. Smart was married last July to George Smart, a wiper on an oil tanker. Mr. Smart sailed for Brazil, South America, last Monday and was cabled of his wife's death.
Deceased was born in Philadelphia and is survived by her mother, Mrs. Rebecca Diehm, of Philadelphia. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters, John, George, Mrs. Florence Backus, Mrs. John Narkins, and Mrs. Edward McKnight, all of Philadelphia. Mrs. Smart attended the Faith Methodist Church, of Philadelphia. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
