May 10, 1951-Sept. 22, 2013
Norman Amaral passed away peacefully on 9-22-2013 at Casa de Modesto, where he enjoyed his final four years.
Norm was born in Gustine and lived his entire life in the valley. Although disabled in a motorcycle accident as a young man, Norm never lost his love of music nor his passion for sports. A rabid San Francisco Giants fan and Green Bay Packer Cheesehead, Norm thrilled everyone at Casa de as he reveled in them both recently winning world championships.
Norm attended Modesto High before his accident, and always managed to stay atop of local news and events despite the difficulties caused by his injuries. His unofficial job these past few years has been to joke and tease with everyone he knew. The smiles he put on their faces attests to how good he was at it.
