*Clarence Navarre, living in a cabin a mile south on LaPlaisance Street, died last night from a heart attack. He was found this morning and Coroner, E. Rupp was called. The body has been removed to the Rupp Funeral Home pending arrangements. Mr. Navarre was about 68 years old. (MEN, July 9, 1941)

Clarence died at Monroe Township, Monroe County, Michigan. He was widowed at the time of his death. He was the son of James and Ella Landis Navarre. Burial was on July 11, 1941.

**Funeral services will be held in the Rupp Funeral home at 9:45 am tomorrow for Clarence Navarre, 68 years of age, who died Tuesday night in his cabin on LaPlaisance Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Mr. Navarre is survived by an uncle, residing here and three brothers, Edward of Nazareth, Pennsylvania, George of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and Louis of Pennsylvania.
