GLEN CORNELISON
Glen Cornelison, 76, of 2921 S.E. Fourteenth St., died Wednesday at Veterans Hospital of a heart ailment after a 4-month illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Dunn's S.W. Ninth Street Funeral Home with burial at a Benton cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
Born in Benton, Mr. Cornelison was a trucker driver for Des Moines Transfer and Storage Co. until retirement in 1961. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and of the Park Avenue Christian Church. He lived in Des Moines for 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, Vera; two sons, Neil (Mike) of Atlanta, Ga., and Ross of Des Moines; one daughter, Mrs. Ellyn Rucker of Golden, Colo.; three brothers, Howard of Mount Ayr, Don of Atlantic and Mike of Des Moines; one sister, Mrs. Velma Walker of Des Moines, and six grandchildren.
The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to the Park Avenue Christian Church.
