Ann Rose Kerr of 169 Lake Road, Star Lake, New York, died Friday morning at Clifton-FineHospital. She was born in Carlton Place, Ontario, Canada in 1935. Ann Rose attended CentralCity Business Institute in Syracuse, New York. She worked in food preparation at the LakeviewHotel and later, at the SUNY Potsdam Campus at Star Lake.

Ann Rose is survived by her son R. Andrew Kerr of Aurora, Illinois; her daughter Debra andRaymond Bubb of Watertown, NY; her daughter Katherine and Richard Meilleur of Russell, NY;and her son John and Pamela Kerr of Hammond, NY. There are ten grandchildren, one greatgrandchild and one great great grandchild. Also surviving Ann Rose were brothers and sistersThomas Welling, Robert Northrup, Carl Malady, Clark Malady, Bill Malady, and Agnes Malady aswell as several nieces and nephews. One niece, Jennifer Pelno, lived with and cared for AnnRose. Ann Rose was predeceased by her husband, James Kerr; one sister, Joan Kelso; and onebrother, Fred Northrup.

Ann Rose was a Eucharistic Minister of St. Hubert's Church in Star Lake, NY. She was also aPastoral Council member at St. Hubert's. She was voted "Woman of the Year" by St. Hubert'sChurch in 2007. Her hobbies were crocheting and reading.
