Survived by his wife Fran Carnagey-Wood, three sons: Clinton and wife Michelle; Nicholas and wife Shasta; Jamie and wife Lachelle; and one step-son Wade Carnagey, and six grandchildren: Dresden, Bell, Sierra, Hailey, Tyler, and Jessie. His two brothers are Floyd Wood of Marsing, ID., and Leonard Wood of Fairfield, WA., and sister-in-law Jean Wood of Myssa, OR. His mother Noma Wood is still living and in a nursing home in Boise, ID. Roger has multiple nieces and nephews.
Roger is preceded in death by his father: Elmer Ross Wood, and one brother: Lloyd Wood.
Roger is a veteran of the US Army and served in Germany in the early 1970s. He was training as an electrician until he became severely disabled.
Roger was a man of strong opinions, deeply honest and had a great sense of integrity and humor.
He will be missed by his loving family and friends. No memorial service is planned as per his request.
