BLANCHE SINGER
(1872 - 1925)

MRS. A. SINGER DIES SUDDENLY FOLLOWING TRIP
Becomes Ill After Return from Glenn Flora, Thurs.

Taken ill Thursday evening when she returned from a trip to Glenn Flora with her husband, her son, Anton J., and the latter's wife and two children, Mrs. Alex Singer, 1708 Columbus street, grew gradually worse and died Saturday morning at 10:45 after she had been removed to the Holy Family hospital for an immediate operation, which, however, was never made.

The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock with services at St. Boniface Catholic church, the Rev. Kersten officiating. Burial will be at Calvary.

Mrs. Singer, who was Blanche Michalski before her marriage, was born in this city fifty-three years ago, March 9, 1872. She received her education here and at the age of twenty was married to Alex Singer, the couple having always made their home here.

She is survived by her husband and four children, Anton J., Mrs. Charles Tikalsky, Mrs. Leon Huske and Mrs. John Maple, all of this city; seven grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Xavier Sobiech and Mrs. Peter Rugowski, also of this city.

News of the death will come as a shock to a wide circle of friends as Mrs. Singer had always appeared in the best of health.
